How does StarID support services?

Your StarID is the username you use to login to these services. When combined with the password you set, our technology verifies your credentials so the application will let you in. A key benefit of this technology is that you will be able to login to multiple applications and services at different institutions using the same username and password if they participate in the program.

StarID Self Service

StarID Self Service is a web site that individuals use to manage aspects of their StarID credential. Individuals must successfully identify themselves online to use these services. Current self services available include:

StarLAN

StarLAN is a coordinated wireless network service designed to provide visiting employees and students access to the Internet through a basic wireless service. Each Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campus can choose to provide and support the StarLAN service. Today, this service is available at Inver Hills Community College and at two locations of the Office of the Chancellor: Wells Fargo Place and Minneapolis Community and Technical College (Harmon Place).
