The StarID Help Desk provides support via telephone and email. The tasks the StarID Help Desk personnel can assist you with are:
- Activating your StarID (username)
- Retrieving your forgotten StarID
- Resetting your forgotten password
- Selecting a complex password

Tracking Your Help Request
The StarID Help Desk uses special software to track all problems and issues. When you call the StarID Help Desk, they will ask for your StarID and institutional email address so they can track the incident and respond to you promptly. You will receive an email confirmation when the StarID Help Desk creates a ticket for your unresolved issue and also when your ticket is officially closed. To check on issues previously submitted to the Help Desk or to submit a new ticket, please send an email referencing the original ticket number to starid.helpdesk@csu.mnscu.edu.
