StarID - Your gateway to enterprise services
StarID Self Service Options
StarID Login to ISRS Administrative Web Applications
ISRS administrative web applications now require StarID for login. Please activate your StarID now to be sure that you can use it to log into these applications. For a list of applications that will require StarID, see the project status page.
What is a StarID?
The StarID is a username that will be used across the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to access information technology systems and services. As systems are configured to use StarID, the number of usernames and passwords students and employees will need to remember and use will be reduced. Ideally, all systems will be able to use StarID so people will have a single username and password.
Who has a StarID?
All faculty and staff of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system are eligible for StarID and can activate one now. Although students are not currently eligible for StarID, we are working with our enterprise and campus technology partners to provide StarID to students.
What is a StarID used for?
We are always expanding the list of services supported by StarID. Here are a few of the most commonly used:
ISRS
ISRS administrative web applications (e.g. eTimesheet, Tuition Waiver, Accounting, and others) require StarID for login. Activate your StarID now to be sure that you can use it to log into these applications. For a list of applications that will require StarID, see the project status page.
STARS
STARS (Systemwide Training and Registration Site) now accepts StarID for login. Search this registration site for workshops, courses, and conferences hosted by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
StarLAN
StarLAN is a coordinated wireless network service designed to provide visiting employees and students access to the Internet through a basic wireless service. Each Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campus can choose to provide and support the StarLAN service. Today, this service is available at several colleges and universities and the Office of the Chancellor.
